Q: What does the afterglow of this summer sound like? A: “It´s About Love”, from Silicon Funk.
It all began with a pre-release at radio stations “Ibiza Global Radio”, “Sonica FM” & “Radio Monte Carlo 2”.
Even “Ministry of Sound” jumped aboard and took the Terry Lee Brown Jr. remix for their 2007 “La Nuit 2" compilation.
All the tracks on this record, arranged with the soulful and powerful vocals of Jimmie Wilson, will be a must-have for
most DJs. The real highlight is the Terry Lee Brown Jr. version (A1), remixing the original (A2) in a reduced and more
uplifting form into a real dance floor experience. The “Let It Grow - remix” (B2) from P.A. Schulte (Earth Nation /
Zoomin´ / Vorsprung durch Technik) is more eclectic and presents the beautiful side of Vocal House.
The “Chill On The Beach mix” (B1) is a total dreamy chillout temptation. In this mix M. Bussian (Glissando Bros. /
Fous de la mer / Cafe del Mar) transforms the Ibiza sunset into melting vinyl.

Wie hört sich die Reminiszenz an den diesjährigen Sommer an? Auf jeden Fall gehört Silicon Funk
mit dem Titel “It´s About Love” mit dazu. Den Start gaben mit einem Pre-release die Radiostationen “Ibiza Global Radio”,
“Sonica FM” & “Radio Monte Carlo 2”. Auch “Ministry of Sound” wurde aufmerksam und nahm den Terry Lee Brown Jr.
Remix mit auf die diesjährige “La Nuit 2”. Alle vier Tracks dieser Vinyl, die auf den sehr souligen und kraftvollen
Vocals von Jimmie Wilson aufbauen, bieten nun ein breites Spektrum für fast jeden DJ. Hervorzuheben ist der
Terry Lee Brown Jr. Remix (A1), der in reduzierter Form und ständigem Aufbau das Original (A2) auf eine andere
Ebene des Dancefloors bringt. Der “let it grow remix” (B2) von P.A. Schulte (Earth Nation / Zoomin´ / Vorsprung durch
Technik) ist eher eklektisch und zeigt die schönen Seiten des Vocal House. Einen sehr verträumten Abschluss bietet
der “chill on the beach mix” (B1) von M. Bussian (Glissando Bros. / Fous de la mer / Cafe del Mar) der es wie kaum
ein anderer versteht, die untergehende Sonne Ibizas auf Vinyl zu bannen.
